@JoeHHO because the CDJ850 and the CDJ900 came to substitute the 800 not the CDJ1000 =] why dont you try to use this with tracktor, virtual dj or any software like this and you program to use hot cues(like on the video) instead of loops?

Good vid, will everyone song have points where i can do this? most of my songs are trance and progressive and they are mainly all 7 or 8 minutes long and I want to shorten them to about 4 or 5 minutes each

I have cdj800s, so no hot cues for me, but I use the roll effect or sampler on my mixer to do something like this.

@stezza333 I have the 800s as well, iv got the djm 700 also, trying to get used to the effects but so far i mainly use the flanger and phaser, any tips on the others?

@krenehan learn the effect that is called "trans" at 1/4. Play around with it, great for build-ups (if there is no bass or kick)

The first on is Heaven Scent, Bedrock, the Greg Downey mix. The second example still uses Heaven Scent, but I'm mixing Sander Kleinenberg's 'This is Not Miami; into it (I think I had it written as the John Fugler mix, hence why that's what I call it...) and the last one is David West, Welsh Morphology.
