Does the receiver ever "lock up" while streaming music or at all for that matter? I read a review somewhere saying that it locks up and the only way to get it to release is to power it down.
@dasanii19 Maybe 3 times since I bought it a year ago. I found that it can happen when you flip between inputs quickly and have been switching things rapidly via the network. I actually had to unplug it from the wall to fix it. The firmware updates seem to improve it. very rare occurrence, but yes it has happened.
@CreativeOutletHobbie Cook, I just bought one. It was between the onkyo 5008, yamaha a3000 and the denon 4311ci and I chose the denon. Are you still loving the receiver? Ill post a video up of mine when I install it. I have a 5.1 system with Polk monitor 70s (fronts) Polk Cs2 (center), Polk monitor 60s (rears) and a epik empire subwoofer. This is my first system. Thanks for the video!
Do both HDMI outputs operate in parallel or can you view two different source simultaneously? Mine is coming within the week, so if you could answer this questions for me it would be great. Thanks...
CreativeOutletHobbie -- Thanks for the reply. I tried unsuccessfully hooking up a Wireless Bridge to the RJ-45 jack on the rear of my AVR-3311CI, but no luck in connecting to the net. I will have to contact Denon on that one. One thing that works fast and great is a FAT-32 formatted Flash Drive (8 GB) with thousands of tracks on it via the front USB port -- love that feature.
@Dennis3331000 I have an Apple Airport Express that is a wireless bridge plugged into a wall socket and then a wired cord running from the express to the my denon. That worked great. Make sure your on the same subnet as your dsl/cable model.
Actually, this AVR was my second choice among the very best. Nice design and excellent sound quality according to the owner reviews.

Dude, why don't you push in on the bottom of the front panel door to open it instead of trying to pry it open with your fingernails!!
