I'm guessing you know about the 2004 ALCS-- the Sox were just three outs away from getting swept... they were down by one run. As soon as this steal took place, it was just a chain of great things. The Sox went on to make an epic comeback and win the pennant. It all came from this one steal.

Also keep in mind that their other championships since then (1978,1979, 1996, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2009) have all come in bunches except for 2009.
