Hi, I think you have things the wrong way round here - the closest objects to the eye should be the ones that vary the most, the ones in the background should be pretty much flat..so you'd probably have to cut the hand out (even the fingertips if you wanted to really make them pop out) and do the shifting left and right with that. At the moment - there is some depth in your picture, but it really comes from the background..hope this is helpful.
nice man! one question, when you move the red colour thingy, where do you want to put it? cause i done it before and it didn't seem to 'pop out'. because i dont know where to move it.
