  • Don't look now folks, but the Confederacy won. They lobby your government every day to ensure American workers compete against slaves around the world. And they get exactly what they lobby for. Democrats, Republicans, it makes little difference. It's a corporate government, and politicians from both parties are on the take. The confederacy pays for the campaigns of nearly all politicians, and they get what they pay for. They're evil, not dumb.

  • It's one thing that China produces 93% of the world's laptop computers and scale models of this (or any) bridge. It's another that China just now produced a (real) piece of an American city.

  • Why isn't the federal government stepping in to stop this?

  • @TheArceus12345

You mean all those Wall Street executives crowding every corner of Obama's white house? I have no idea!

Excerpt from letter to Obama from the US Chamber of Commerce:

"To achieve that recovery, we urge you to ensure that stimulus legislation not include the unnecessary and trade-restrictive Buy American expansions currently being considered."

They got what they lobbied for, and Obama will have a fat war chest for his reelection.

  • This is the price of CAPITALISM and GLOBAL ECONOMY. Enjoy!!!! ha ha ha!!

  • @Obamaownswhitesnow Yes this is Capitalism...which will eat its right leg and left arm once it gets hungry enough. If you add strong regulation you get our Capitalism of the 40s 50s and 60s which had everyone's life improve in America. However those days are long gone and Reaganomics/Bushonomics has brainwashed our politocos to think "what's good for corporations is good for America" when in fact they are eating our right leg and eyeing our arms for a snack.

  • @boredjoewo Thanks Joe for your reply. You are right, these 2 destroyed the American society/economy badly. Im an American and strongly disagree with Capitalism. Why? Because quickly turns into greed and we see the results. Almost 2 out of 10 americans unemployed. Globalization and Capitalism along w/ bad national politics and even worst international politics have created this. Unfortunately, our people are NOT willing to compete w/China, etc.

  • @Obamaownswhitesnow Canada is not besieged like this because it has restraints in place despite being Capitalist Canada like most western European nations have strong elements of socialism as well .

saying Capitalism is bad is like saying oranges are green well oranges are green before they are ripe.

  • @boredjoewo The average John Doe believes this could be fixed easily and its not. Asians, South Americans, Indians, Arabs and all these guys living where big corporations go are willing to go the extra mile, work hard and earn little compared to our people. Cheap (and good labor) are killing US. We have to do something to compete or we are screwed, period.

  • @Obamaownswhitesnow Compete ? lol your not serious I say rout the den of vipers and slap tarrifs on anything not made in America .

  • @boredjoewo What you are describing is corporatism. Capitalism is being used as a fall "guy" for the wrong doings of governments and corporations alike.

  • @boredjoewo Im reading your words again and you are right.

  • @Obamaownswhitesnow

    Globalism yes! Corporatism not Capitalism.

  • @smbelow Capitalism = greed

  • @Obamaownswhitesnow

I humbly disagree. I believe Capitalism allows individuals to pursue success out of self determination and ideas. Socialism and Communism employ a more servitude to the State mentality. It's Corporatism that breeds greed and a sense of Kingship amongst its pursuers.

  • It's our own government is selling us out!

  • Chinese Bridges collapse at a rate of 8 times more than USA built bridges. This new Bay Bridge has already had one section collapse...I'll never drive over this shoddy piece of crap.
