smart kid! i bought a kodak camera and the files are .mov! that sucks.you can't even view the files on the camera,you have to copy them to computer 1st.duh! my old sony dscp32 shows up as a drive when you connect it.and files are mpg!

does anyone have myspace that has this kind of camera because i wanna know if the picture makes squiggly lines or waves in the picture when you upload a picture online like myspace, it shows the quality of the picture, if someone has myspace and has pictures that been taken by Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W290 uploaded in myspace please pm me, give me the link of your myspace and allow me to see your pictures in myspace that you only want me to see "public" i want to buy this camera and see the quality

oh I found out that the software that comes with it doesn't work on mac but uploading videos and editing them on Mac works fine. I am going to being using iMovie with it

Cool camera,but one thing,I thought that MPEG4 was like an iPod exclusive format.

no MPEG4 is on PSP and iPod but a lot of camera's use MPEG4 and youtube supports it
