This is nowhere NEAR as fun as hitting CTRL-ALT-CMD-8 on tradeshow Macs in passing when no one is looking. THAT can potentially keep them busy for HOURS.
It works with any Mac that has an IR sensor, but you have to make sure the remote is pointing at the sensor. You can't aim the remote at the back of the Mac and still do this.
hmmm, pc 1 mac 0... windows would have crashed upon recieving the signal, and my bet is the remote uses some form of linux, and linux gets along with linux so no fun :( lol
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
Agreed... or disable the IR receiver in Security pane of System Preferences (since most people don't seem to know whatever happened to that pesky remote!

I too have had a lot of fun with this too! At Uni, everybody in our common room were using macbooks - or the eMacs at the side of the room.
Just imagine the implications when some of those users are also using iAlertU!
