@hiperanimallover thats no problem, my portraits go all over the world but I've yet to conquer Spain! They are all commissioned portraits, so you'd need to send me a photo of the boxer you'd like drawing, and I'd be happy to do it for you, prices are on my website
@jesstonto I've used lots of different electric pencil sharpeners over the years but none of them last very long when in constant use. I'm back to using hand sharpeners specifically for pastel pencils and the best one I've found so far is Stabilo Art.nr.4514, available from art shops. I buy them in boxes of 25 as they soon go blunt and useless but are great when new. For thicker pencils that won't go in, I use a good old fashioned Stanley knife. If you find anything better, please let me know:)
@Portraits4Pets Thanks for your reply, your work is beautiful. I'm 17 and studying art as an A level. I've just started out with pastels and really loving them!
Hi, I use a variety of pastel papers depending on the shade required - the best I've found are fabriano, ingres and mi-tentes. Hope this helps:)

I love your work. I have spent alot of time admiring your work on your website.
I notice that pet portraits are extremely popular in the UK. It isn't as much so in the US for some strange reason.
I admire your ability to use pastel paper too as paper and I don't get along too well. I have to use suede paper or matboard.
Lovely work.
