  • I read the "Shem Tov" Hebrew Matthew-it is SO obviously a translation from the Latin-it also has very many translation errors in it that no Jew that lived in the Holy Land would have made. (Many, many Latin words written in Hebrew letters-and it confuses Galilee with Gilgal and Magdala with Macedonia!). The church fathers make it clear that the Hebrew Gospel was written in Aramaic. This is discussed in the book-and in my "Aramaic: Language of Jesus of Nazareth" book.

  • this is nice but what about Hebrew Matthew?

  • why is your intro about you longer than the actual issue?

  • Part #1. I want to know what's the embryonic truth in Genesis creation story. Was a Devil put on earth, did God cause an evil fruit tree to grow in a garden, did God watched the sinful fall of Adam and his wife and then curse them? Did Yeshua really said that he came to die for sinners.

  • Part #2. Did the Sanhedrin arrested Yeshua for political activism and seek to put him away because of the Romans occupational pressure of intimidation, or was God using his bad boy Satan to blind Jews eyes in rejection so Jesus would die for sinners?

  • is there an audience ?

  • :) its funny when westerners speak aramaic, tishbokhta le alaha bamrowmeh :) that these people help make notice of the original language of aramaic -- lishana atiqua.

  • @thelionkingspost Hi Dear, If you really know Aramaic would you mind to tell me how to speak this nice language.

    Regards

  • Is it safe to say that Yeshua, like most people living on the edge of the Med, spoke Aramaic, Greek, a little Latin in addition to Hebrew?
