Got the Don Hume inside the pants holster for my G30 and I was wondering if anyone out there has this laser with the same holster. I know I can get another holster but I'm so used to this one and yet I want a laser like this one. Anyone?

I hope you cleaned and greased that Glock, brother - the guiderod spring is SCREAMING like a banshee.

@XBLHAX Mine makes almost NO noise from the guiderod spring. When I first bought my G23, it felt...gritty. It sounded just like this one. Properly cleaned and lubricated, it does NOT make that noise. :)

My only problem, which it appears you are experiencing as well, is how god damn squeaky Glocks are in general! I notice it often because most oils don't stop the sound (it is usually caused by recoil spring in contact with slide). I always had the same issue until I started using Ballistol. Not trying to advertise or anything but you should try it. Blows other oils like Gun Butter out of the water.

I purchased a similar system from LaserMax called the Sabre. What turned me off to this style of laser was the fact that these units interfere with slide racking if you are an overhand trained operator.

its Confusing? a You Tube member said he put a LG-617 on a Compact Glock 23 gen 4 without back straps? He said it fits just fine. I going to buy a LG-617 to put it on my Glock 19 gen 4.

God only knows when Crimson Trace will come through for Gen 4 fittings. I am assuming the LG-617 will fit my Glock 19 gen 4. What do you know about Gen 4 fittings? cannot wait for Crimson Trace to make a Gen 4 fitting.

It is the same frame all around for the17 models, so just buy one for a standard G17 and it will work great.

LOL, it's funny you say that.. I collected all of these lasers because I was given one one of the Laser-Lite Rear Sight lasers to test ..

So I figured, we'll make a laser series..

Then I forgot the dang rear sight laser at the shop that is letting us borrow it

Those lasers are actually pretty dangerous and may cause permanent eye damage. When handling those, be sure that it doesn't shine on reflective surface and doesn't go into some other people's eyes.
