  • Why do you have a T-line/fill port and a res?

  • @boeing159 used T-line to prime the radiator. This helps bleeding process.

  • Unless I missed something it looks like a good test. Correct me if I'm wrong please. And also once installed is there anyway of knowing when you do have a leak?

  • @enigmafirst once installed the only way to know if there is a leak is to see it. Just make sure to use the correct sizes for fittings and tubing to ensure good connections. use zipties to secure the tubing. Also, it is very important to use NON-CONDUCTIVE coolant. so in case it does leak, it wont shorten and burn anything. i used "FESSER ONE" with a little of "PT NUKE" bactericide to prevent mold and anti corrosive add-ons.

  • @enigmafirst To prevent corrosion of any kind, use all copper components in your loop. DO NOT use any aluminum to avoid any chemical reaction between copper and aluminum.

  • @SosiBibuSuka Notes taken thank you. :-) I just realized that I can insure my cpu up to $5000 for $140 a year also against various things including liquid spillage. Which they say includes leaks. :-)

  • how do you get power to all of this without having your pc turned on???

  • I used a spare PSU. To make it work without your mobo you have to short-out 2 wires in the 20/24 pin harness. If I remember it correctly thosewere GREEN and BLACK wires. There should be only one green wire and several black ones. so you can use any black wire. Do it at your own risk or use an old PSU. If you don't have any experience with electronics DON'T DO IT.... research my friend, research!!! :)

  • This can depend since not everyone use those standards colurs on their 20/24 pin.

  • @SosiBibuSuka I wonder how many people have connected the Green and Black wires while the PSU is live and have died or been shocked very bad.

  • @thedead1ock None, when you short the green pin and a negative pin it just powers on the PSU. Even if one says they got shocked, they didn't because DC 12V won't even shock a person just not enough.........

  • @KhAN95240 Finally someone who knows what I'm talking about =)

  • @SosiBibuSuka

WTF is that cool cylinder thing?

    Reservoir?

  • @BKsMassive Reservoir - is the correct answer.

  • what is ontop of the 3 way splitter a drain valve?

  • A little late to reply lol, but I think thats a fill port.

  • ??? excuse me?

  • Nice water cooling cant wait to see temps and performance after what the hardware do you have?
