14 Oktober kom ik vanuit Kos terug naar Schiphol met Transavia om 13:00 ! Gr

Damn that's a heavy crosswind. I'll be landing in Schipol in september of '10 :) Sept. 23rd look for a KLM Embraer 190 in the afternoon ;) I'll be on it :)

haha het is een 737-700, alle 737-700's van HV beginnen met PH-XR en 737-700's hebben maar 1 nooduitgang boven elke vleugel en een 738 2 ;-)

en het gaat idd ook om de lengte, maar ook om de luiken boven de vleugels en bij transavia ook om het registratie nummer...

Ok maar ik vlieg elk jaar met transavia, en ik heb alleen maar met 800's gevlogen ;)

dat kan wel kloppen want ze hebben iets van 26 737-800's en maar 9 (of 10?) 700's, dus de kans dat je met een 7378 vliegt is een stuk groter;)

I said that I live around the corner so I'm very often there, but DON'T go in the winter!!! Because the (most) runway's are in a kind of farm and the landscape is flat so there is lot of wind!!! It will be very, very cold!

hoe vinden piloten hun weg als ze taxien?? schiphol is een doolhof, gebruiken ze soms GPS om hun weg te vinden??

ze gebruiken geen gps om de weg te vinden, elke taxiebaan heeft een code, dus de toren zegt bijvoorbeeld taxi via alfa 12, foxtrot 15 to runway 36 als voorbeeld. en bij elke baan staan borden en de piloten hebben ook een plattegrond dus zo vinden ze hun weg

Inmiddels zijn er ook computer systemen die de taxi route dan aangeven, wordt vooral gebruikt in slecht zicht. Het word tot nu toe meer bij GA gebruikt...
