Deltec skimmer TC 3070

@tashdog1 hi the new one can handle far more air so works better, the old one was sold to help pay for this one!

i`m see from your videos that foam in the chamber it is not so thick like in the old line don`t get me wrong i`m sure it is a quality skimmer but if you can explain why it is such a thin foaming inside i`m considering if to buy that or go with bk

Hi mate, depends on when filmed it, you can just them wet so the foam is not as much, but to be honest I run them how they should be and this things just pulls the junk out!

@aharon115 because mate some times when you turn of a skimmer and empty it

it will not show and give a thick foam that always happens nearly. so you have to wait

for that to start again foaming properly by waiting fatty acidy compounds to build back up

in the reactor body.

@aharon115 I don't think they need to be so thick, if you think about it the thicker the heavier it is so the less will come out, the new pumps suck more air which makes more bubbles so looks like it's not as thick but works far better! BK is a very good skimmer too!

My 1004 was a great skimmer but my new is better!

I wanted the 1006 but couldn't get it in, they are bringin out a 4 pump version soon so maybe worth a like against the 1006?

Sorry sold it, this one was to replace it, this one only has 2 pumps which have the same wattage as one from the 1004!

I see that they have been babtised "IPod" skimmers allready. I have Deltec skimmers my selfe and love them all. I will probably like the white in a while.....
