Daisy was a ticking time bomb and the hospital, patients knew that she was bound to do this. I think Lisa's bullying just helped make her decision quicker.

I want to read this book! I watched an interview with Anglina Jolie and she stated she read the book when she was younger and had highlighted all of Lisa's parts.
she's so insanely excellent. my favourite parts are the way she says 'trying out your new silver ?' and 'i'm SICK daisy, we know that' - she's beautiful, and so is Winona and Brittany.
also the line 'tell me that you don't take that blade, and drag it across your skin, and pray for the courage to press down' is amazing
what a brilliant actress. this movie connects with me so much.
For example, everything's dandy until daisy tries to give them money, or asks about where they're going to stay as if she has matured and is trying to look out for them, but Lisa believes she can look out for herself and Susanna and tears Daisy apart.
Same with when Susanna is going to get better: Lisa reads out everything she read from the diary, trying to get to Susanna because Susanna is going to be above Lisa and the other patients.
Same with the ice cream scene :) great movie by the way!!
I think the thing with Lisa was that she never liked to be treated as inferior; she loved to be in control of the patients, as if they were a team and she was the captain. As long as they were obedient to her, she would protect them, befriend them, and help them rebel against the authority in whatever way they wished. But when anyone, especially a patient, tried to act as if they were above her, she tore them apart and put them down. And she never felt bad about it, because of her sociopathy.
I swear, that scared the ever-loving mess outta me when i first saw this film and Daisy had hung herself. I flipped out. And did they really have to play "end of the world" before they found her? really?

she's so insanely excellent. my favourite parts are the way she says 'trying out your new silver ?' and 'i'm SICK daisy, we know that' - she's beautiful, and so is Winona and Brittany.
also the line 'tell me that you don't take that blade, and drag it across your skin, and pray for the courage to press down' is amazing
what a brilliant actress. this movie connects with me so much.

For example, everything's dandy until daisy tries to give them money, or asks about where they're going to stay as if she has matured and is trying to look out for them, but Lisa believes she can look out for herself and Susanna and tears Daisy apart.
Same with when Susanna is going to get better: Lisa reads out everything she read from the diary, trying to get to Susanna because Susanna is going to be above Lisa and the other patients.
Same with the ice cream scene :) great movie by the way!!

I think the thing with Lisa was that she never liked to be treated as inferior; she loved to be in control of the patients, as if they were a team and she was the captain. As long as they were obedient to her, she would protect them, befriend them, and help them rebel against the authority in whatever way they wished. But when anyone, especially a patient, tried to act as if they were above her, she tore them apart and put them down. And she never felt bad about it, because of her sociopathy.
