  • Очаровательно

  • Saw you guys in Mallow Co.Cork yesterday and was blown away, now it wasn't my first concert adn i did miss some of my old favourites, songs and members but still... well done. bravo!! keep it up

  • It's like listening to the sea roll and smash against the seaweed on the yellow cliffs. Awesome!

  • Rock On.

  • They are singing in Irish, and that may be some or all of their native languages. I know the group is all Ireland. My choir is performing this piece, and it is just an amazing work. Incredibly difficult, and awesome to listen to. I love it!

  • Amhrán ar fheabhas ar fad, iontach maith. Bualadh bos!

  • Where can you learn this language?

  • In Ireland.

  • @brezairola Very funny...

  • I know.

  • musiclovinggurl123, that's actually not completely true. To some extent, yes, if they are fluent in the language, it makes it easier, but not by much. One, this song starts out in the time signature and switches rapidly to 6/8, 10/8, 11/8, and back WITHOUT PAUSE. And Gaelach is one of the hardest languages to pronounce. To do a song with this incredible speed and get every note right without being conducted at all is extremely impressing. The speed is impressing, given everything I just listed.

  • It's just amazing, I can't even speak that fast in my native language lol. wouldn't even want to think about doing it in Gaelach

  • I would think that singing the language would be much easier than speaking. Singing flows much easier than simply speaking. Plus, I'm sure they practiced for months. :)

  • Destroyed it!

  • Thank you! We are always delighted to destroy a piece. By "it" I assume you mean the song. which was written specifically for us by Michael McGlynn. Oh, that means we destroyed the piece written for us specifically. Yes. That makes sense. Thanks again.

  • For a start, it's way too fast. I speak Irish Gaelic and the speed at which it is sung takes away from the lyrics. I do not mean to offend you but this is just my opinion, obviously there are alot of other people who enjoy it. I have grown up with the Clannad version, so maybe that's why I find it strange. I do not understand what you meant when you said Dulaman was written specifically for you, wasn't it written in the late 70s by Clannad?

  • The text is traditional. What you should have written is that "You destroyed the text...in my opinion". Otherwise, yawn.

  • La migliore interpretazione di Dulaman mai ascoltata!! Bravi Bravissimi!!

  • Saying a song fast isn't that impressing. If they know the Langauge as well, its not hard since they speak it quickly anyway.

  • Duh yeah.

  • this is so hard to do . . incredible !

  • what is the soloists name?

    I LOVE THIS

  • Lol the soloist *does* look kind of ticked off in this video. Love listening to it though! I'm a big fan of Anuna, hell I'd try and audition for them if they were based in the states.

(Avsalon, I'm also in choir and direct a couple myself, but I don't make those kinds of faces =P)

  • one of my irish friends recommended this to me. they are amazing. i can't get enough!

  • this guys are Foda!!

  • Wow this is cool!

  • um, WOW.

    haha, this is amazing! ^_^

  • Wow that was absolutely incredible - I'm speechless.

  • dude!

    that was amazing!!

  • what r they saying???

  • Click 'More Info' in the box right under where it says 'November 25, 2007' over there to the right of this comment. =======>

It gives the lyrics in Irish and the English translation. :)

  • what are you talking about his face does not look evil.looks professional. im on choir and i do that kind of faces on every performance .and the people love that kind of special stuff ..

  • Why does the lead singer look like he just killed someone? Perhaps he should look up and stop looking so evil.

  • Anúna is a great group, but I really don't like this version of Dúlamán, it's too fast.

  • this song is great

i looked it up cuz im singing it in highschool chorus haha i hope we sound even close to them!

  • he is hot :)))

  • The lead singer looks dangerous.

  • @TheLittleRussian2 but very good ;)

  • @janeEyreAddict Yes he is :-)

  • holy cow!! that was amazing!!

  • Yes - his Irish accent singing in Irish is terrible. Don't be such a knob.

  • That's just... amazing!

  • greendragon828 said: That'd be John McGlynn. You should hear him sing "Fionnghuala"! See post below. (Why didn't it stick to the post I replied to??) Enjoy!

  • To 13Naru13: Heh, it always does that! Bet it's doing so right now. Little bugger.

I like this version of the song, it's cool. I like Meav's version as well. Clannad's is a little too slow, but it's still fairly good!

  • wow!

  • Real men sing in Gaelic.

  • @greendragon828

    I agree. These are warriors.

  • the lyrics as listed under the "more info" are from the Celtic Woman version with Meav. The lyrics that these men of Anuna sing are in a slightly different order. I can post them, if people want.

  • I loved seeing yall in Canada last year!! Our choir sang with yall in a workshop at Festival 500!!

  • this song is so freakin cool

  • Ian Curran tiene una linda voz!!!!!

  • Two Russell Crowe!!!!

    Michael McGlynn and Jonh McGlynn!!!!!!rsrsrs

  • the guy at 1:05 looks like Russell Crowe. :-)

  • That'd be John McGlynn. You should hear him sing "Fionnghuala"!

  • You can! There's 2 different clips available here! He's funny! "join us in the chorus" LOL

    Ian Curran is fab.

  • Amazing!

  • the main singer looked like he was gonna kill somebody, w/ the look in his eyes and the way he was standing....

  • It was awesome though!!! LOL

  • these men are amazing!! i love them and their voices!

  • I think this song can't be done any better, can it? This is really awesome.

  • I went through nearly every video of Dulaman on here before coming across this one. I was pleased to find this version and linked to you from my Song A Day blog. Thanks for uploading it! -Catherine

  • nada mas que genial, me encnta esta version, ademas que de Anuna no se puede pedir menos

    Dayo_irish

  • Wow just amazing! I think Meav and Anauna make a great version!!

  • yep both versions are great. Did you know Meav used to be in Anuna? Itd be cool to hear her sing something from when she was in Anuna I think.

  • Yes i knew that, you think im dumb!

  • No I dont, was just stating a fact.

  • Hahaha yeah i guess.

    Lol.

Umm Meav is just awesome lets just end it here Lol..

  • Um, I believe Meav sang a very different version. sane lyrics, different song. I could be wrong though. ;)
