Very good advice for any teen, and adults too. I didn't have sex till I was 17 and in a relationship with a girl for over a year. Plus, I find that when parents do stuff such as try and keep you apart from someone (such as they did with my girlfriend at the time), it makes you wanna be more of an adult and do adult things.

Being gay, that was really hard, especially in high school. Being in the closet, and falling for all the wrong people. The breakups were really tough! I fell in love 3 times before and that was painful! The only escape back then was anonymous sex. I don't have aids as of now, so I decided to play It pretty safe. I myself want to wait. Not just because of religion, but that is a huge part of my choice, but when I get married, I want to let my husband know that I saved myself for him; and my purity is for him. In conclusion, truly, the ONLY safegaurd of STD's are chastity, celibacy, abstinence, monogamy and fidelity, all of which the school sex education classes constantly fail to teach our children.

We Christians object to condoms because of the way they are aggressively marketed to teens and singles. Although condoms are more effective at preventing pregnancy and STDs than using nothing at all, they are NOT EVEN close to 100% effective.
It is still potentially possible to get pregnant and contract an STD while using a condom, and this happens to many unsuspecting young people every year. Coincidently, these evident facts explain why teenage pregnacies are so widespread today.

Hmmm... I'm a christian and i don't have a problem with condoms but I do have a problem with the marketing and wide spread advertisement of condoms to young people. Condoms are use by married couples many a time to prevent pregancy(though it's already been noted how it's not 100% effective).
I just wanted to note that not all christians have that outlook and it's not the product you and i hate, it's the marketing.

Very good advice for any teen, and adults too. I didn't have sex till I was 17 and in a relationship with a girl for over a year. Plus, I find that when parents do stuff such as try and keep you apart from someone (such as they did with my girlfriend at the time), it makes you wanna be more of an adult and do adult things.

lol my friend had sex with her BFF since she was like a baby (a guy) and the cool thing about it was that she said "let's pretend this never happened" after it was all done and now they are perfectly normal and friends again. there was no awkwardness afterwards either.

im an 8th grader and i tell people at my school that i dont wanna have sex until i find a girl i love because if i end up getting her pregnant (condoms break....) i would spend my life with her taking care of the kid because i wouldnt leave them on there own like my dad did to my mom so unless i love her im ont gonna do her lmao

If you're loooking for an example, Herpes can't be stopped by condoms. Since 1 in 5 Americans have it (and few show symptoms), you're pretty much guaranteed to catch it eventually unless you're REALLY careful

I tell you the truth, honestly, condems are actually designated for the sexually promiscuious such as prostitutes. For purely righteous individuals such as myself that strongly envelop chastity,condems and other sexually contraceptive devices are impracticable to us.
Futhermore,School sex-ed classes should only teach students about abstinence. They should not teach that students who engage in sexual activity before marriage use safer sex techniques, because fornication is immoral.

condoms are only effective 99% of the time, and there are some std's that condoms are completely ineffective to. I couldn't name them off hand, but that's what I was told.

Being gay, that was really hard, especially in high school. Being in the closet, and falling for all the wrong people. The breakups were really tough! I fell in love 3 times before and that was painful! The only escape back then was anonymous sex. I don't have aids as of now, so I decided to play It pretty safe. As for being in love, 3's definitely my limit.
