The graphic cards work fine on maxed out settings on one display monitor, three monitors means it needs to divide the graphics between the three.

On 1 screen he could max the settings out and record with fraps at full screen over 100fps and still be able to play. I have the nvidia surround setup myself with 2 560Ti 448 core cards and it has a hard time if maxed out. This setup is no doubt badass for sure.

I guess any pc gets stressed when it has to build a totally different environment with high textured meshes. 6:08 framerate drop to 17 and stays there for about 3-5 seconds.maybe you should try upgrading to the 3960x,or overclocking the graphics cards.

lawl dude, i found it pretty funny sometimes, dont click on cutscenes nothing happens... dont click when reloading, nothing will happen. having 100fps when staring at a shut door in close up, yeah thats right. and you dont have everything maxed out when your FSAA is off.

BUT nice rig anyway, i like it. the only thing i dont understand is why you run the 2600k at only 4.9Ghz? mine is running at 5Ghz and i just use the Prolimatech Genesis.

@Hazukro I don't have aa enabled. There is a difference. AA is for bad screen flickering. Which i dont have so is not needed. Has no real empact on performance. And 5.0 with what voltages. I'm not at 4.9 with 3.91v which is as low voltages as i see them. You are most likely at 4.5+ to hit that with air cooling. Which drastically cuts your cpu longevity.

nah dude, vsync prevents screen flickering. FSAA is used for tearing and does decrease your performance noticeable. and i run my 2600k with 1.450v @ 5Ghz, not kidding. the 2600k is capable of a lot more than 5Ghz with proper water cooling, let alone vapochill clones. there are a ton of reviews and videos about it.

To your second part, like i said, 1.45 volts is what get yous your 5.0, 5.0 comes with 1.4 volts on my chip, i have pushed to 5.4 with 1.439 v, and i bet if i pushed 1.45 i could get a good 5.5/5.6 but thats bad on the chip to run 24.7, i would never run anything over 1.42 24.7 and im comfy with my 1.391Vcore at 4.9ghz. Typoed when i said 3.91 ment 1.391, WHICH IS LOW

@Jessescustompcs I'd take any car that's half the price and twice as fuel efficient than one that is twice as expensive and twice as fast. I wasn't implying that BF3 wasn't a technical marvel. I'm just implying that in couple years I can experience a game with that graphical fidelity on a console for what I'm estimating less that $600 or on just one year on a rig less expensive. I could save up around $2000 and put together a rig that can play BF3 maxed at 70fps or I can wait a year and save.
