I can't speak for anyone else but the police in my city are more focused on waiting for soccer moms to leave home so they can be ticketed for speeding than "serving and protecting." A single officer with a dash cam and a radio is more protected now than any group of police before him/her. The department invests millions in training, ballistic vests, and technology to make sure that when you need help you get it. But a 2 officer traffic stop is not necessary unless you have the extra man power or the officer requests it.

A single officer with a dash cam and a radio is more protected now than any group of police before him/her. The department invests millions in training, ballistic vests, and technology to make sure that when you need help you get it. But a 2 officer traffic stop is not necessary unless you have the extra man power or the officer requests it.

The cop was just doing his job. There was no way possible that he could known this would happen. The driver of the car should have been hung. Not because he is black but because he should feel the pain that officer felt. The officer did the only thing he could. Only thing I would have done differently was put another clip in and kept firing!

This animal should be put to death as he serves no purpose to humanity. He was intent upon killing the Officer. Good job to the Officer for not giving up and for fighting to keep his weapon. Too bad the perp didn't see some "street justice." Anyone who says law enforcement officers are abusive need to look at the shooter in this and see that he made it to trial unscathed...a testament to the restraint of the Officer's who caught him. How we wish we could summarily execute this POS.
