  • Taaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaallinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn. I am living here.

  • stop complaining about stag partys..you take our money when we visit !!!

  • you may leave your money and yourself at home. Noone likes idiots

  • I saw today four british guys running naked in the middle of the old town. Actually it wasn't even funny because the old town is important place for locals.

But I know. You are on vacation here so then it's ok. I like Brits but sometimes you are a little bit noisy people :)

    But see you in Tallinn!

  • Yes this isnt good! Its not ok because they are on holiday! Hopefully, these instances are growing less and less, and people who come to Tallinn now realise that they have to act responsibly.

Are Brits noisy or Estonians quiet? :) :)

  • Nice video. Tallinn is an absolutely gorgeous city, one of the most beutifull medieval city centres I've seen in my life.

I've got one question: What's that song playing from 0:22 to 1:22? I like this folksy stuff :-D

  • Nice video, the best one I've seen :) and I do love Tallinn :)

  • Very good video. Vaga hea, tubli!

But I disagree with a couple of statements. Stag parties are not very well behaved, at least relative to the Estonians and to tourists from other countries (although Finns can get pretty pissed up too).

Also, I think there is no necessity to book with an agent. I'm Asian so I stand out pretty obviously in Estonia, but first time I went, pre-EU and pre-tourist boom, I went alone as part of a trip through Finland. No problems whatsoever and it's even safer now.

  • Beautiful Country....TALLINN.

  • cheers for the info, im going next month and have taken this all into account. id love to work in tallinn when i'm older

  • have a great time in tallinn mate, i would recommend, nimeta bar for a few beers and watching the football, nightclubs Hollywood and venus, the girls are gawjus beyond belief lol

  • cheers dude. didnt realise i had a reply to my comment. it was great, i absolutely loved tallinn. it must be even better in the summer as it was pretty quiet, but wasn't that cold for february. i recommend tallinn in the winter to anyone either, even when it's grey and gloomy. and i see what you mean about the estonian girls!

  • Great video ! :D

  • Estonia 4 ever ))

  • even if you drink in public, don´t worry, you won´t go to jail, you are just taken to the station and you get away with a little ticket

  • great video!

i was in tallinn and it was sooooo wonderful staying there!

    :) xx

  • Unfortunately estonians really do not smile in street to people.. thats something unusual if u are used living in UK or Ireland. I have a feeling in estonia, that they call ambulance if im smiling in street to people... like im some kind of lunatic, lol... BUT i do love estonia despite that. GO AND SEE THIS WONDERFUL COUNTRY. P.S im estonian living in ireland:)

  • and why should estonians smile in the streets?

  • Great video! It's all common sense really! Most of the tips offered here are valid for any other tourist destination! Tallinn's a great city and very much worth a visit. PS! Estonians do smile, you just have to earn it ;)

  • well done james, i visit tallin and parnu a lot, i just love it, the estonian people are lovely and im always welcommed, travelling over again end of november. i travel alone on business and i stay in the old town, i just adore the place and would gladly live there, the hotels are great.

IF your about at that time, be nice have a beer, once again thanks for the vid..

  • Nice video...I have an 80 year old Estonia born friend...He's not been there since 1947 when he fled Soviet "Liberation"...Is Estonia wheel-chair friendly?...He'd like to go back for a visit...

  • I'd recommend him to take a friend with him because there are still many places where a help is recommended and I guess it's not a good feeling to ask for help all the time. But I hope he'll visit us:)

  • estonia is actually not very wheel-chair friendly. u gotta have friend with u coz theres many places where is hard to get without some help. Much work needs still to be done in this area...

  • i visited all three baltic states and Estonia's the only one i'd want to visit again.

  • Ok Heres A Tip For The Ppl That Dont Get This Video!!

Estioneans That Are Audlts Probly Speak Russian Because When Most of the old ppl where kids the russians took over estiona and in school forused ppl to speak russian. my moms estionan so she knows and estionan kids these days have to learn english but most of the Audlts dont speak English...and i just moved to tallin so i have to learn the language!!!

  • adults speak also english and young (15+) speak also russian...

  • LMAO Lol I Just Moved Here Because my mom was born here!!!lol i love it here i just hate it becuase im scared to go to school and i have to learn the langue!!

  • nice ;)

  • Hi,

I am a bit confused about your comments. Brits do not need to be told all the time...but there is very little information about Tallinn...and the tourist board certainly arent doing anything! Would you rather these tourists remain ignorant and then treat the country badly?

I'm English but I lived in Wales for 20 years....and I actually know a lot more of the welsh language than my Welsh friends!

  • Great video, great idea! As an English guy married to an Estonian and as a frequent visitor, I fear the video was created mainly as a result of Brits on the lash! Tallinn is not Magaluf guys, yeah there are great bars & clubs but cramming everything you normally get upto on an 18-30's fortnight into a weekend in Tallinn is a no no. Tallinn has something for everybody, great food/beer/shops, history, culture, beautiful women! and nightlife. So go, enjoy but respect!!

  • Nice video! Thanks! It's very useful for those who are travelling there soon.

  • Very good video. But if we speak about stag parties....for 2 years that I work in hotel, I saw just few teams, that were polite. Sorry :(

  • Hi Katti,

Yes I understand your comments. Its a long process and unfortunately not everyone who comes to Tallinn treat it with respect. The good news is, that more people are realising that Tallinn is not just a place for stag parties..but others things too - like sport. These of the sort of people who we want to attract, as they are more well behaved and are coming to Tallinn for something other than beer!

  • Probably the best video made by foreigners about Tallinn I have ever seen. Really good tips and advices!

    With greetings,

    Sampolit-Grupp

  • Very good video about Estonia. They sould make some like this for Lativa and Lithunia. Sadly people when they hear of these countries they think, drag place, people don't smile a bit like the former soviet union etc. Plus it full of prostitues etc. inforadio a lot of people don't know that their are some Russians living in Estonia

  • Hi Cian - thanks for your comments. I'm glad you understand the concept of this film and its exactly the message we want to get across. We have approached the Latvian Embassy with view to making a film. If you know anyone in Latvia or Lithunia who can make a film like this - then please let me know!

  • Lativa.. Hmm Its A Beautiful Country But When Me And My Dad Drove Down There It Was Like Crazy! People There Are Crazy Divers! No Offence Cian10

  • täitsa öiget juttu ajas see mees videos!! see mees kes seal videos rääkis on ju inglane, aksendist on aru ju saada!:)

  • oh, you are so clever mate!

  • Inforadio??? ... you talk in English? Are you Estonain or just a fan of Estonia?

Doesn't matter, this si greta job you have done, and I am very happy that people like you bring my HOME to me ... I live in Florida! My HEART and my HOME is tehre where this movie is made:-) Thank you!!! :-)

  • I Live In Estiona!!:D

  • meil on ainult odav alkohol ja litsid naised:S?

  • No..of course Estonia has much more to offer! Jowever this video, which was made in conjunction with the Tallinn City Tourist Board and the Foreign Office, targets a very specific audience. Hopefully, stag groups will watch this and treat Tallinn with the respect it deserves.

  • This video is about Tallinn and why its a GOOD city. Lets all look at the positive aspects about Tallinn and Estonia, rather than concentrate on the negative issues. Estonia is such a small country that invariably, the only media coverage it gets outside of Estonia, is bad and negative news. Lets try to change this and concentrate on all the positive aspects that this UNESCO recognised city has to offer.

  • Well done video. Well, except maybe for the assertion that most Stag groups are well behaved. ROTFLMAO :-)

  • sa oled täitsa loll, kui arvad niimoodi..

  • great video actually, wierd to watch my hometown in british eyes :D

  • I would add that Estonian's speak Estonian not Russian and that the prostitues that are here are mostly Russians , so its not our fault that they are here and selling themselves..

    Peace.
