THE PROBLEM IS WINDOWS VISTA!

I used to have exact same problem with my 9800 gt, only i had error code 43 and had some square like garbage all over my startup screen. The problem was in bios i tried everything resetting re installing drivers even re installed win 7 and vista. Later i updated bios and wouldn't you know it everything worked ok. My card was from Nvidia and mobo from Asus m2n. Maybe it will help someone else.

I have a problem too ! At the back of the card a blue and a green lite are open ! Some times screen flickering and after goes black ! Please help me !

@johnnyesp get another card or sell it to someone who knows how to fix it.Error 43 arrives due to hardware error of the cards capacitors

YOU HAVE TO DIASBLE THE OTHER CARD INTEL G965EXPRESS CHIPSET FAMILY 

AND UNINSTALL DRIVERS

ENABLE 9800 GX2 AND play

I solved my problem and you have to go on your bios and set PCI-E

how do I go to my bios?

when ur computer starts u have a screen with the name of ur motherboard and there's also on the bottom of the screen some options like press delete or press f2 or other button u pressit and u stay with it pressed then u are in your bios

you have to disable the grafik on the motheroard !!! (BIOS) and enable the PCI-E!!!!

did you ever think that maybe the graphics card was over rang for your moniter meaning that insted of your resolutions native setting being 1280 by 1024, then was set to 1680 by 1050, sometimes that can be the problem.

If your motherbord has video card its possibe that you need to go to your bios and disable it in order to 9800gx2 to work or enable pcie slot in bios

1 instal the drivers of the card and as that down't work try a nadere pci-e slot and as that don't work buy an adder mainbord
