  • my god these little women could kick 80% of the male population's butt. Imagine what it would be like in the sack with them, glorious.

  • lets all just bang our knees on the ground while doing lunges!

  • Notice this: the woman in the middle who did the most was over time lifting with a rounded back and bowing knees in an effort to do more reps, which seems to be the one and only goal of this philosophy. The woman in the maroon top had better form but seemed to have back problems from all of those reps even with good form. The woman in the yellow bra seemed to be the *smartest* of the bunch in that she stopped when she had to. In any case, this can be fun sometimes but not a good long term thing.

  • I'm not sure if you do CrossFit or not; as Many Rounds is not the only workout. The set goal is commonly the rounds or reps. The workouts are always creatively different so you don't get used to them and as I mentioned earlier; if it's too much, then modify, but push yourself as hard as you can while knowing your limit. This is part of what makes CrossFit different, but you really have to do it to understand. It's not fun during, but afterwards you feel good about yourself.

  • @emceeAMile i think its very fun i do atleast 1 wod a week and i love it

  • So this is what a fitness scam looks like....crossfit is nothing new...arbell complexes, gpp, tabata, etc have been around for decades (and were not invented by crossfit) and have been used by powerlifters and olympic weightlifters (not to mention athletes) for decades....

In any case, if functional fitness if your goal, then more power to you....

  • @tonym9428 That doesn't mean it's a scam. It may be expensive, but it does work and it's definitely worth it.

  • haha nice comment!

  • No pain...no gain. You need to be breaking down your muscles so that they can build back up. If you're not sore you're just maintaining.

  • This is the best type of training for an MMA fighter, cop and firefighter. Give me a day when you're just going to use your legs in a fight or arms and yet people still believe in isolating their bodies in such a way. In fight on the street as a cop, firefighter or just average person vs another person/fire you're going to be taxing your whole body.

All you haters out there try Fran: 21,15, 9-Pullups/Thrusters 95#. If you can get it under 4 min stick with what your doing if not....

  • Prefer workouts that make me stronger without injuring myself. Here's a different paradigm: just because you're sore doesn't mean you're fit.

  • Who's injured? If you give your all to any workout injuries just may happen. If your sore most of the time, it means you are confusing your muscles and getting one hell of a workout!!

  • No. Soreness does not mean you are getting stronger or more fit. Soreness means you are sore from overtaxing your system. That's it. Not always a bad thing but not what you think it is.You are correct in saying that you are confusing your muscles. I prefer training that does not "confuse" my muscles or what have you but builds an integrated whole. I train very hard and do not get sore. It is not a good gauge at progress. And yes, doing training like this clip has a higher likelihood of injury.

  • Training like this could result in injury, but it depends a lot on how it's used. If your form is poor you might get injured, due to dangerous muscle use. However if your form is correct you probably won't get injured, because you'll be doing it right. If the perscribed amount is too much then you can modify it to something you can handle. I'm not always sore from CrossFit though I'm using up to 95% of what I can, but there's more to CrossFit's philosophy than this.

  • 0:26 LMAO!

  • damn, allisonnyc pushing those rounds out! Girl is crazy!!

  • Crossfits the shit. I used to do strict bodybuilding workouts. Ran across this and gave it a shot. IM HOOKED. Never knew what shitty condition I was in till I did CROSSFIT. Other day did walking lunges for 400 freaking yards....all the way around the track. STILL AINT WALKING RIGHT. Serious pain!!!

  • are those 135 pounds?? or lower

  • Those are 10 lb weights on each side. So assuming they are using a standard 45 lb bar, it would bring the total weight to 65 lbs.

  • These women are freaks!

How can I motivate my wife to do crossfit?

    8 ))

  • Tried this one today. got confused did 10 Full Squat Cleans in between the lunges and Overhead Walk. Killed me! I think it's harder doing it the way they did bc of having to do more lunges.

  • Sorry... I have a potty mouth

    We used 65#

    Men would probably use 95#

  • Nice WOD. I will be trying this soon.

  • These women would mop the floor with me...

  • superhuman

  • This test is a real killer. You won't walk for a while after doing this =)

  • Those children learned some curses that day lol. :)

  • strong hips

  • This is what Freddy RX'd...

Using a barbell (M:95#/W:65#), complete as many rounds as you can in 10 minutes of:

Walk the length of the floor with the weight pressed over head (about 45')

    5 full squat cleans

Lung step back across the floor with weight on shoulders

    5 full squat cleans

  • Great WOD! Do you have recommended weight to use?
