so good to see another side of the bulldog!, goes to show they are just as talented as other breeds with a little bit of training. I love bulldogs and have grown up with them, and have one of my own they are amusing to watch......if only we clould get inside there heads..lol
Kudos, Pat! Great job & a LOT of patience & love training Deesel. While I'm sure Deesel IS exceptional, if more bully owners would control their bullies' weight, they might be surprised just how much energy they can have. I'm on my 4th, and adore/admire the breed enormously. My current, Tootsie, loves to walk/hike, SWIM in a stream!, chase squirrels & chipmunks and fetch toys endlessly.

I trained dogs for 13yrs and we did try to put an agility title on a few bulldogs. . . they tried, very hard, but failed in the end :-) They would over heat to easy. The one we have now is 11yrs old and he was the last we tried agility with. . . and failed. But he did get his CD.

the different from a english bulldog and a old english bulldogge they will have the same flat face but body wise is a little bit different the bulldog is shorter and wider chest and more fater and more wrinkles...the olde is biggerlets wrinkle and have long tail looks more like a american bulldog
This was so awsum for me to see. I have an English bulldog called Busta and whenever I say to people I would like to train him for agility people crack up. He is the greatest dog intelligent and funny and has been my best mate and right hand man since I lost my husband 2 years ago. Good job Deezel is wonderful

OMG my mother's dog sooo needs to learn agility. She's insanely hyper, we just got her about two months ago, she's 3 1/2. She would probably love all of the exercise she can get from it. she's nuts and jumps up real high with her fat little body. I've always wanted one and now she's got one and wow they are the best!

Deezel has the same color and markings as my Bulldog Tyson. I named him that because when he was a puppy he liked to bite my ears whenever I held him.

Well, it would be good if you do have a good financial stability because they can have several health problems but if you search hard and keep it healthy, then need not to worry. You should research more as English Bulldogs are dominant and stubborn at times and may not be as active as you want a dog to be. So, you must consider what you actually want out of a dog in connection to your lifestyle before saying you want a specific dog. Bulldogs do have respiratory problems, snore, etc.
Great dogs but I agree you need to be prepared financially! When I brought mine home, she was almost 3 mos, after 3 days she got pneumonia!! PRICEY!!! A month later...PNEUMONIA and a couple days after her antibiotics were finished...PNEUMONIA!!!
She's a great dog though. Loves people, kids, other dogs. I can't go anywhere that she doesn't feel like she needs to meet EVERYONE and of course everyone wants to meet her. I'm not sure if it's because she's still a puppy but she has lots of energy!
Well... the British (or English) Bulldog is among the most clever dogs in the world. So I don't really see anything exceptional in this vid. concerning this beautiful dog.
God merit to the trainer, but again nothing out of the normal. It is just UNUSUAL because bulldogs are generally very lazy dogs, but as I said so intelligent that with the right training they can undertake almost any challenge.

lol yours isn't the only one that does agility. you should see mine make a dash for the door when he hears the words outside, car ride, or someones here. he doesn't so much weave or jump just kinda bulldozes everything out of his way. yours looks really well trained and very well mannered. awesome job raising him.
What a good lookin bully! "Anyone" My bully is 2 1/2 and he's very well behaved for the most part. I was just wondering if anyone has any tips on how to get him to stay calm when company comes over. He doesn't get aggressive just excited and wants to play and it can be bothersome. He was socialised pretty well as a pup and when we're out and about he could care less but when people come in our home he seems to think they came over for his entertainment lol. Thanks
See if you can find a training course in your area. If you have kids that aren't to young have them take your Bully to class. Its what my In-laws did for their dog, and it worked out great!
Thanks, I thought about that but I think in that setting he'll be well behaved. If we're over other peoples homes he's always well behaved and calm. Its really only whe people come in my home and actually he's really gentle with kids its more with adults that he bothers. I was hoping someone had some kind of simple training excersise or something that could be done for that. I'll be honest, it really isn't the biggest deal and for this to be the only thing wrong I almost feel petty lol.

how did you train that bulldog? I beat my dog viciously and I can't get him to do half the stuff yours does. I think I'm just going to shoot my dog and start over.
No need for name calling buddy. Look at the dogs body and you can tell. Maybe the owner didn't cross breed but it is mixed. How can I be so sure?? Because I own a French/English Bulldog mix and it looks and moves EXACTLY like that dog. I'll post vids soon. How could it be possible that out of all the English Bulldogs on planet earth, only one can compete in agility??? I never said it was a bad thing either.
What a cutie. I love english bulldogs. My brother had 1 and he was awesome. He passed away over a year ago. He really didn't have 2 many issues as english bulldogs usually do. However he was almost 12 yrs old so I guess it was his time. He didnt suffer and I got 2 say goodbye but I still miss him soooooooo much.
I had to put my precious Brutus down this past tuesday, he was 4 months away from 12 years old and i'm crushed he got to where he couldn't walk and was in extreme pain.I know we did the right thing but I still miss my beautiful baby bulldog, I love you Brutus and I miss you very, very much!!!
love it! Our bully Bailey swims! She's a great swimmer! Even has her own float that she'll get on. Most folks think we're kidding about the swimming, but we're not!
That is so cool, my bulldog really only gets excited for naps and bedtime. Its so adorable to watch her walk excitedly from the couch to the bed... adorable!

What a good lookin bully! "Anyone" My bully is 2 1/2 and he's very well behaved for the most part. I was just wondering if anyone has any tips on how to get him to stay calm when company comes over. He doesn't get aggressive just excited and wants to play and it can be bothersome. He was socialised pretty well as a pup and when we're out and about he could care less but when people come in our home he seems to think they came over for his entertainment lol. Thanks

See if you can find a training course in your area. If you have kids that aren't to young have them take your Bully to class. Its what my In-laws did for their dog, and it worked out great!

Thanks, I thought about that but I think in that setting he'll be well behaved. If we're over other peoples homes he's always well behaved and calm. Its really only whe people come in my home and actually he's really gentle with kids its more with adults that he bothers. I was hoping someone had some kind of simple training excersise or something that could be done for that. I'll be honest, it really isn't the biggest deal and for this to be the only thing wrong I almost feel petty lol.

how did you train that bulldog? I beat my dog viciously and I can't get him to do half the stuff yours does. I think I'm just going to shoot my dog and start over.

No need for name calling buddy. Look at the dogs body and you can tell. Maybe the owner didn't cross breed but it is mixed. How can I be so sure?? Because I own a French/English Bulldog mix and it looks and moves EXACTLY like that dog. I'll post vids soon. How could it be possible that out of all the English Bulldogs on planet earth, only one can compete in agility??? I never said it was a bad thing either.

What a cutie. I love english bulldogs. My brother had 1 and he was awesome. He passed away over a year ago. He really didn't have 2 many issues as english bulldogs usually do. However he was almost 12 yrs old so I guess it was his time. He didnt suffer and I got 2 say goodbye but I still miss him soooooooo much.

I had to put my precious Brutus down this past tuesday, he was 4 months away from 12 years old and i'm crushed he got to where he couldn't walk and was in extreme pain.I know we did the right thing but I still miss my beautiful baby bulldog, I love you Brutus and I miss you very, very much!!!

That is so cool, my bulldog really only gets excited for naps and bedtime. Its so adorable to watch her walk excitedly from the couch to the bed... adorable!
