Dragon attack on Riverwood

This is what happened to me when I encountered a dragon:

I was just going out of Riverwood and returning a letter to Faendal, or however you spell his name. Then all of a sudden, a freaking dragon just appears out of nowhere and I'm screaming my ass off at the phone to my friend asking how to kill it xD

when a blood dragon came to me in Riverwood i was ready, but Alvor was not. This is how it happened. I go to cabbage cart and start kicking cabbages when i dragon attacks! I ended up killing the dragon, and his bones ended up in the center of town hanging in between the tavern and the inn. But then, I saw a corpse. Alvor's sizzling body lay on the porch of his house. His wife was in the garden severely injured with her daughter at her side. I put Alvor's corpse in his Black Smith fire.

dragons killed half of riverwood on my skyrim, at least my wife camilla survived, but her bro, um... x_x

Alvor and his wife both died in this attack. Along with Mikeal. However Alvor's daughter just goes on with her everday life like not a damn thing happend.

Ok so I went here and a Dragon attacked the place... After I killed it Alvor and his wife attacked me. I killed them, Totally self defense.

@GamingToaster Use a Conjuring spell and get inside of the dragon carcass and just shoot the from the inside of the dragon sending it far from your town. Sorry if that's a bit too confusing.

I lost so many friends because of 1 bitch-ass dragon! He flew right over Riverwood and the an epic battle to the death followed! After the battle I found 6 corpses: The Dog, The Blacksmith, The Blacksmith's wife (kid is now parentless), a Whiterun Guard, Embry and Camilla Velentius ( my wife ) :'(

I was very upset.....

But then I saw that I had an autosave when I entered the Riverwood trader! The second time only 3 Whiterun Guards died.

does anybody know a trick to beat an elder dragon on master dificulty with a full warrior class?? I am failing even with all my potions. btw there are no guards around.

smithing to upgrade your armor to legendary, dragonplate armor and heavy armor for a 400 armor rating and lvl 100 weapon master for the damage

Get the spell to make dragons land.. i killed an elder with bows covering with terrain.. but its hard to melee and elder .. they got like 200 dmg attacks.

@anoynymous100 two handed or 1handed? i use my 2 handed mace and just keep power attacking till he's dead. the power attacks stun him for a sec and keep him from breathing fire or biting.I have a stamina stealing enchant on my mace though which keeps me from running out of stam. you might wanna get one of those

I hate that even on the master difficulty dragons are weaker than giants who can one hit kill you. I want dragons to be the most strongest and dangerous enemies in Skyrim.

I killed a dragon in the front yard of the Pinewatch Farm, but I killed all the thieves inside, so I don't think they'll mind the obstruction too much.

Nice dragon vid! Didn't even know they could attack in the starter towns. What difficulty are you playing on? I'm on adept, and Dragon fights are usually much tougher than that.

@BlessedSpirit Plus it was a normal dragon. Ancient Dragons are MUCH tougher. I'm glad I have Daedric Bow (104dmg+21dmg+12dmg=137 damage! xD) and immortal horse (as a bait for the dragon) so I can easily kill even Ancient Dragon with 20 arrows or less. (Depends on the companion, really.)

@MultiCaliban LOCU!! Lots of luck, I also fought one in Riverwood (fire varient) and I had to wait for the guards to cripple the stupid thing. The only time it landed was on the roofs.
