It is called an illusion. Usually the face comes much closer to the knee and the leg should be extended toward the ceiling as if in a split.

I beleive that you are the only dancer who took the lyrics into consideration, or your choreographer did. Whatever may be the case I liked this dance the best out of all of the other ones I looked up. You don't have to be technically inclined to dance, you just need emotion, so don't forget to use your face too! :)
