I wish they would play this song more at shows :( I've been to seven of their shows and I haven't heard it once. "Armed and ready it begins, again". Ps bring back Josh Eppard! Chris Penne is a good drummer, just not a good Coheed drummer.

@darthReno True on the drummer scenario. Also this song is so overlooked to me, cos it's the 2nd track of the album and all, but still its one of my favorites. I had the privilege of hearing it live at the 9:30 Club in Washington DC on Oct 11, 2004. I will never forget that day :)

@darthReno I tend to agree. Chris Pennie is a fantastic drummer, and I love NWFT, but it just lacked the drum flare of the previous albums. The drums just aren't as proggy... sad day.

@CrypticDictum I have to say that I agree with you as well. Clearly, Chris Pennie is the more professional and refined drummer, especially since he's not doing loads of drugs. However, Josh did make the band feel more progressive with his odd beats and off-time snare hits. I also think he brought more emotion to the band since he was basically there from the start, whereas Chris seemed to jump on the bandwagon. Overall, I prefer Josh's drumming for this band, but I think Chris is better overall.

There isn't a bad song on NWFT. They're all like, battle songs, except for The End Complete series, but even then the last two are epic rock ballads and radio bye bye is unbelievably catchy.

Also: Mother Superior is a fucking amazing song.
