  • F8? i thought this was fe3t?

  • @reckless54 It was! Then I killed that by doing something stupid and replaced it with an F8 which made more power (due to tune state). Then it made too much power and spat out a rod. This truck will be FE3T again next, stock 9:1 long block, then I'll build a serious F8-DOHC-T engine for it, and call it a day and build something else.

  • gap has nothing to do with rpm, rpms are based on cam profile

while gap that is wider then factory will produce wider shorter spark and smaller gap produces a longer shorter spark

  • @jayguy173 you're a typical know-it-all, no-uploads, no-brain, no-ability-to-think-before-typing youtube user. I'm sick of FUCKWITS like you commenting on my videos, as such, I'm shit out of patience, and you're shit out of luck. Please, sincerely, GO AND DIE IN A FIRE! Thank you most kindly, have a nice day.

  • @fredio54 right that is why I went to college for automotive so I could know nothing

  • @jayguy173 You should have stayed in school, then you may have been able to:

    A) Spell

    B) Not stated the bleeding obvious, but wrongly (gap has nothing to do with rpm) (It's a physical thing, RPM can't change it...) (Assuming you meant "RPM has nothing to do with gap" you're right, but depending on your flame front speed, charge density, combustion chamber shape, fuel homogeneity and other factors, a different gap could affect TORQUE (read the fucking title, moron) and ability to rev under load)

  • @fredio54 if i was to major in english then i would be able to spell

  • @jayguy173 Somehow, I doubt it. See original comment re dying in a fire. Please do. Preferably gasoline fueled.

  • @jayguy173 C) Not made an idiot out of yourself by telling us that RPMs are based on cam profile. RPM is based on whatever it will breath to, combined with the load at that point, if there is no load, the engine will spin to destruction. If there is some load, and less torque, the RPM will drop. MAX rpm under any circumstance is a point of equilibrium, nothing more or less. Cam profile, for the record, along with many other factors, determines your torque potential at various RPMs.

  • @fredio54 many v8 have similer desighn and yes its based on what it will breath but the cams are different for the same engine to produce different rpm charcteristics such as torque and power where you want it

  • @jayguy173 Again, you're a complete moron. See original comment re dying in a fire. Please do. Preferably gasoline fueled.

  • @jayguy173 D) Not made an idiot out of yourself by saying "longer shorter spark", well, which is it, the two adjectives are MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE, fail.

    E) A larger gap will produce a higher probability of ignition (never certain!!!) as the spark can travel through a greater variety of the not-perfectly-homogeinious mixture, thereby being more likely to hit a pocket of combustible saturation level, and actually burn. This is assuming that the coils can produce a high enough voltage to jump the gap.

  • @fredio54 thats good did you read it on the internet under spark plugs 101

  • @jayguy173 No, I have a Bachelor of Science! See original comment re dying in a fire. Please do. Preferably gasoline fueled.

  • @jayguy173 F) A smaller gap will be easier for the spark to jump, if you have a shitty ignition system, but will produce less power, torque, ignition probability, and other desirable properties.

Consider yourself educated (well, not really, do go back and finish school, won't you...), now, kindly FUCK OFF, and stop wasting my time, and that of my more intelligent, educated and experienced viewers.

  • @fredio54 what does that have to do with rpm and have you ever tuned and rebuilt an engine

  • @jayguy173 Yes, you're commenting on a video of an engine that I built and tuned. Not only that I actually designed and built the engine management system that is running that engine, from scratch. I understand engines better than you EVER will. See original comment re dying in a fire. Please do. Preferably gasoline fueled.

  • Fred you should know better than to take a test ride in a turbo car without shoes. You might have to walk back home. ;-)

  • @hitchhikkr This is NZ! We go everywhere bare foot anyway because it's pretty clean here :-) Did I say NZ, I meant a closed circuit in nigeria...

  • @fredi054 - Fred were you banned on MX6. com? WTF?

    ProjectCarTV = SixSick6

  • Pretty Dam FUcking COOL! Good Job....

I like the Way you Drive w/Out Shoes! LMFAO

  • damn!!! sounds positively evil fred!
