I say both rides are about the same: dull and boring. I hate how the Monsters Inc animatronics are just bobbing their heads in the same fashion as Superstar Limo. If they want to make this ride better: revamp it to Tokyo Disney's Ride & Go Seek!

I HATE monsters inc with passion. I used to love superstar limo. when I got to test the rides, superstar limo was very popular.

You can't quite tell in the video, but much of the old stationary 'puppet' celebs are still in the Monsters Inc. ride, only dressed up as the CDA hazmat-suited monsters.

why, They even kept in a camera system so Roz can comment on the riders...

Nice job! I didn't realize they reused the Superstar Limo ride system for Monsters, Inc. Was the first installation of Monsters, Inc. at Disney MGM Studios, in the former Superstar Limo location? I didn't have much recollection as to what Superstar Limo was like, and I think it's one I may have failed to record due to my battery running out when I went there, so it was cool to see it again.

The ride system and layout reuse I found more surprising than this was Dinosaur (at Disney's Animal Kingdom) reusing Indiana Jones. I'm pretty sure I do have footage of that -- perhaps I should make a side-by-side video like yours.

Superstar Limo was only at DCA, it was never at DCA. Monsters Inc was basically a permanent overlay.

Yeah, I know they only had Superstar Limo at Disney MGM Studios -- my question was whether Monsters, Inc. went in at Disney MGM before (or simultaneously with, or after) the one in DCA (if you happen to know).

I read something about a new Monsters, Inc. comedy club attraction being built in WDW, so maybe they've never had the Mike & Sulley To The Rescue ride over there, even though it used Superstar's track system?

No. Superstar Limo was NEVER at Disney MGM Studio!!!! It was at Disney's California Adventure and Monsters Inc. was built over what was left of Superstar Limo. Superstar Limo only lasted a year before it closed down. Now let me repeat that. They never had a Superstar Limo ride at Disney MGM Studio.

Guess I was misremembering as to where I went on the ride since it lasted such a short time and I only went on it once.

Monsters Inc, Mike and Sulley to the Rescue is way better than Superstar Limo. That is a great ride to go on at Disney's California Adventure. It is one of the best.
