yup... but its the white esquire... not the famous black, which i think that it was originally sunburst, cause I saw a videoclip where he played sunburst tele and then i saw a picture, where one part of the guitars back looked somewhat sunburstish.
yeah, it was sunburst, with a white pickguard. but when he joined the clash, both he and Paul got their guitars painted. it first got a coat of grey primer paint, then a coat of black paint. actually, you can see some of the sunburst finish during the last mescaleros concerts, as the paint was completely worn off.

Saw em 2 times and met Joe and Paul in 84. Still cant believe he's gone but The Clash will always be the only band that mattered....
