Impossible to forget the exquisite voice of David Gates playing any song of Bread and this, in particular, reminds me of a hippie-looking guy who used to carry his guitar in the ICPNA - Lima and stared at me pass without saying a word! Really good memories!

I remember the 1st concert i went was 2 c bread.I was supposed 2 take my gf but she couldn't go,but I wanted to go so bad I went by myself sitting there with an empty seat next 2 me next to all them couples.Shit I still had a great time though,david introdouced 'diary' as their next new single it was great!!

Yes; I have always heard that was the problem for them ... poor attendance. But that was back when they were competing against loud, stoney music. But David and the whole group remain classy and it's damn shame the airplay didn't translate to bigger concerts. Most of the stuff was soft, but wonderful.

great song, great group.... they should have more exposure..... this video is not from 1972, this is their 1977 reunion concert promoting the album "lost without your love".... during this same concert they perform that song and also "she's the only one".... both songs from 1977.
