Great voice, but what is it with these players today with the friggin capo? Doesn't anybody know how to play anymore?

i don't think the capos necessarily there for cheating (although i admit some guitarists do use it for that reason) but sometimes you want a certain note to ring as an open note instead of a fretted note and the capo is like as you would do alternate tunings.

I'm too old school. I studied with Joe Monk back in the early 70's in N.Y. He looked at my guitar and found a 15 capo in the case. He took and threw it in the garbage can. He looked at me and said "that's for guys who can't play." It kind of stuck. LOL
