I saw this when I was 10 (UK Christmas schedule). Became a Sinatra fan then and for ever more, now 47, but have never seen this film again. Can someone in the US campaign for a DVD release, please, please, please.
Wow, One of the first best artists in music SInatra. I've always loved his songs. They're meaningful they are smart. And beat today music entirely. Now Sinatra is my favorite artist next to Dizzy Gillespie. Gillespie mentioned that Frank had plenty of respect for him than he did with others. I heard on a recording that Sinatra had said that he liked DIzzy Gillespie but hated Miles Davis though. RIP Blue Eyes
Thanks for putting that up. Here I am not from this era but was really impressed by this scene. Timeless Classic with Frank doing a bang up job like Ray Milland in "The Lost Weekend". I love the great filming and clever editing in this piece especially when he talks to himself at the end. I thought this was his best song.
I love framk sinatra and were both sicialian!!!

"This is one heckler you're not going to lose too easily."
"What have you got to offer?" .."everything that you already have"
This scene is classic.

Frank's greatest performance on the screen ever....a masterpiece, portrayal of Joe E. Lewis!

thanks for that.
I love Frank Sinatra... and I always imagined him like that (raint street, dark fedora & trenchcoat, cigarette & handsome lean cheeks looking grim)

Helluva movie. The book was better. Sinatra was good but Joe E. lived/died it!
