Andy Stewart is one of the best performers on the planet. He sings well, accompanies himself well and is one of the most witty men I've ever met. My sides still ache remembering the nights I saw him alone or with others in a group. If you get a chance, treat yourself to Andy Stewart live or on CD.

wow. I can remember being soooo young and my dad playing this song. Me and my brother would run around like idiots while my dad would drink and listened to this old irish stuff. This song just came to mind and I looked it up...What stupid old memories lol

either way...if your going to write a song with a meaning so obviouse...what a chorus.
