But according to history, Hephaistion had Gold and short curly hair just like Alexander. They both looked alike except that Hephaistion was taller than Alexander.
It wasn't the best written show I've ever seen. Pontius Pilot was in it as the main villain and I remember one episode where Heath Ledger had visions of WW1. It was supposed to be during Ireland's heroic period and worked on a supposed Roman invasion of Ireland. Late Roman, and I suppose they were referencing that obscure story in Tacitus about the Roman governer Agricola restoring the exiled Irish prince as pretext for their bad history.
Correction. The main villian was supposed to be Longinus, the Roman who sent Jesus to be crucified. The got around the couple hundred gap by making him cursed for killing Christ.
I didn't see the whole series. But it is the only historical movie or series really besides Brother's Grimm that I could possible think of that could have been interpreted as being Alexander. I've looked his career up and I can't seem to find anything. "Roar", is my best guess.

dies is absolutely heartbreaking.
