How nice that you have bonded with Candy. You are a true animal lover!! Its funny how they bury there nuts in the grass. I've recently read that they really don't remember where to look to find what they buried. Sort of like a squirrels alzheimer.lol
yeah, she's forgotten: she goes and hunts for them and then decides they're too old and leaves them lying around. some of them have come up as little trees that my husband is trying to transplant. candy isn't worried: we feed her by hand, and she's staying nice and plump--
thats so cute, my favourite one near my local park, sits in a tree and barks at the local dogs walking past, very funny to watch. The dogs can't seem to understand why there's another dog sitting in a tree barking at them.
what a great story! candy tried to get in yesterday, leaping at the screen. and princess lennie lulu, inside the house on the other side of the screen, thought that would have been a GREAT idea. squirrel chase! in the house!
I love Candy. She's so cute! Years ago, when my girls were small, we had a squirrel that we used to feed nuts to on our window sill. One morning, I awoke to a calamity. My girls had taken the screen out of of the window to feed the squirrel and they didn't put it back in. The squirrel got into the house and scared the kids and they scared the squirrel and they all scared me screaming and running and the poor squirrel, well it ended up getting caught between the sheers and the sofa!
she's pretty fabulous--she trained us in just one day (seriously--she just kept following us around and staring at us until we took the hint that she wanted us to feed her by hand).
That is just too much. Awesome I've never seen a squirrel like that here in Massachusetts. They are to uptight... ah..maybe like some of the people.. ha.

It was hysterical afterwards, but at the time I thought the house was on fire or something!
