  • if only modern music was as good as this

  • THUMB5 UP IF BR33DL0\/3 S3NT yOU!!

  • @IJQI Oh JQ, you so lulzy.

  • @southparkboy119 and one more thing, i think Lady Gaga is overrated, that's my opinion though, but anyways although i dont think she's the greatest, i think some of her songs have good messages, i just used her as an example out of the many artists from today that people critique as being over-excessive. I added this last message for some support, please don't hate me for filling up the comment section, and your message box about my comments =/ SORRY PEOPLE!

  • @southparkboy119 usive to a certain gender, race, orientation, culture, etc. I'm a guy but still find all those songs powerful in their own way. Some of todays stuff is crass, but some of yesterdays stuff was, too, and the day before and so on. This isnt directed just towards you "southparkboy119" but to anyone who reads this: Don't let nostalgia get in the way all the time, its annoying. Oh and two more things, also listen to "Beautiful World" by Utada Hikaru... and south park is hilarious!

  • @southparkboy119 are many music artists that make inspirational songs... i know these arent many people's cups of tea but... Hilary Duff: "Why Not," "I Am," "Fly" ... Aly and AJ: "Rush," "On the Ride" those two artists are mainstream, i think, but those songs are very good also: Yellowcard: "Believe"... Jonsi!!!! : like all of his songs, "Go Do," and "Boy Lilikoi" are two good ones, and even Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" has a good, heartwarming message, and the songs that i mentioned aren't excl

  • @southparkboy119 I like this song, the beat and voice are in unison and very calming, to me anyway. But, the debate between 90's music and today's is biased. I find that i miss stuff from the 90's but if i think about it, some of the stuff back then can be considered as ridiculous as today's. And on the flip side some songs/tv shows/etc now are as good as the 90's. Ex1. this song talks about getting high and about champagne (an alcoholic beverage!!!), not a very good topic for kids. Ex2. there

  • This song is perfect. I love his accent. ;D

  • i hate everything that plays on the radio nowadays. this brings me back.

  • sounds even better today than when it first came out!

  • Uma das melhores músicas do Oasis!

  • I was the 666th person to like this. scary!

  • @Alnilam82 exactly their point.

  • beautifull..

  • beautifull...

  • this is simply amazing

  • I am so high right now. That was beautiful.

  • Which concert?

  • In familiar to millons ?

  • That's a pretty generalized statement. Let's not forget NKOTB in the early 90s, Backstreet Boys & NSYNC were biggest in that decade... not to mention there are some really good bands from this era (The Mars Volta, Revocation, etc.)

  • reminds me of my son's birth. cool song.

  • charlie sheen = supernova, but with tiger blood not champagne

  • @kiuhy8 overexposed like some sht

  • @Sgtpepper212 I was just commenting on the 18 people (dislikes) who don't know what great music is.

  • "But you and I, we live and die

    The world's still spinning round

    We don't know why"

    else to add??

  • where were you when i was getting high?

It's fucking anoying not seeing meaningful comments

  • you gotta love oasis

  • the 12 ppl who disliked this are homosexual

  • @dogzer Hey now, its a little offensive to rope the homosexuals in with people who don't like this song. I mean homosexuals can be perfectly nice people, while people who dislike Oasis are all just fucking pricks.

  • @ClimbinCrap LOL! well... what if they ARE homosexuals? what are the odds? :-0

  • i really can't believe 12 people didn't like this song....

  • buen tema de estos ingleses,un saludo desde argentina

  • sentirla e' come sborrare in culetto vergine appena spannato

    dio baatardooooooo

  • Music from the 90's i think is really underappreciated, i think kids could actually benefit from hearing good and decent music from this era than the teeny-bopper decadence they have in abudance today.

  • @FakeAnarchist yeah totally but every generation before us has said the same exact thing lol

  • @FakeAnarchist any other songs like this classic other than those of oasis, which give the same feel ?

  • @californiancheese I believe "Bitterweet Symphony" by the Verve is just as powerful, "Tonight, Tonight" by the Smashing Pumpkins is one of my favourites, "When i come around" by Green Day," and also Only in Dreams" by Weezer, and also if you wanted to look at other genres of music but also had an impact i'd say "Dear Mama" by Tupac, "Juicy" by The Notrious B.I.G and to me all these songs are great because i never knew how relevant they could be until now

  • @FakeAnarchist Yep. I'm only 14 and I love music like this :D

  • @AwesomelyNumb Ditto, just im 15

  • @FakeAnarchist i am from this generation i hate it wish i wasn't born in 94 worst year ever kurt cobain killing himself in all

  • @czechdog2 True, Kurt Cobain was indeed an influential figure in his lifetime and left a lot behind, but i like to think that he's found some measure of peace wherever he is and personally I'm grateful for the music that hes left behind whether or not people know much about or even like it, i think like songs from Oasis and other artists, they simply speak to the soul.

  • @FakeAnarchist NKOTB Christina Aguilera Qwen Stefani Britney Spears Mariah Carey Countless others. Look man. There's good and bad music from all eras. you obviously know the difference, so go fucking find it.

  • @FakeAnarchist great comment! the world is so fucked up.. its cool to lose virginity at age of 12.. and it's cool to listen transsexual lady gaga music.. it's just disturbing..

  • @whiteapollo11 Glad to hear another person simply speak some good sense.

  • @Missleanneiscool Is it about Pot? maybe it is, but at least they made sound it pleasant and meaningful to listen to.

  • @FakeAnarchist Dw son, one day you'll realize.

  • @FakeAnarchist

i think its about a coke addiction

  • @FakeAnarchist fuck sake. 'pot' causes many pleasant and meaningful moments. you fucking religious nut of a yank. anyway, the tune if anything is about phet or something if you ask me. mandy maybe.

  • @TheSoldier0fortunE Lol @ Britons insulting Americans... even though it's deserved in most cases.

  • @FakeAnarchist the guitarist was on acid when he wrote it. hes said that it doesnt have any meaning specifically. its open to free interpretation for everyone.

  • @Missleanneiscool First of all, this song is not about pot. There's a much deeper meaning you obviously do not understand. Second, he was referring to all of the raw talent of the 90's musicians. And how listening to these songs may change you in a different way ( a better way ) . Third this is much more than entertainment. So please gtfo and don't comment anymore. ^^

  • @FakeAnarchist I can relate to this statement. As an artist in the 80's I came of age . I found myself from 1982 on looking for popular music from the past digging all the way back to the 40's. I must admit to not being fully on board with the grunge movement. However it brought a positive change to pop music that affected the music of the 90's . Great artists were spawned through the sheer energy and spirit of the innovation.
