Haven't heard of Tony Clarke, but like you said they were a lot of singers back in the day that had their own signature style. Today, everything almost sounds the same, like it was on an assembly line. Nothing unique about today's singers, like they're reading from a song sheet with no feeling.

Thanx for your reply, The only song I had heard of from him was Baby Baby Please and he killed it. Back in the day there were so many and I mean many great singers,you can't say that today. I also am a big fan of another Detroiter who didn't get much play and that was Tony Clarke, The Entertainer.

He's from Detroit. And has a string of nice tunes.
