@jannettedevera you can charge it anytime but i would charge it when it is atleast half way or past it unless your going on a trip or something and you want it fully charged. There are also many ways to charge your ipod touch besides using your computer. anything that has a USB port like a gaming console. also if you have a alarm clock radio that you can accually hook your ipod up to it you can charge it that way also. Hope this helps
