This is easily one of the best films ever made (top 10) and in my opinion better than Silence of the lambs.

saying that it was violent is untrue. yes it has violent imagery but really it does not have the violence like today's movies. but what i am saying is that it has violent imagery but not actual physical violence besides 2 parts. but it reminds me also of a old 1930s detective movie. but do you think it is ridiculous that when i tried showing it to my friends at school they would rather watch south park instead.
