I'm guessing the reason for the dislikes is that you don't show how it's made, and it's a fairly plain trap. Can put a picture up in front of the hole to hide it, if it's hooked up to a clock.

If you really want a good dispenser door trap, set up a circuit underground leading to 3 stone buttons and a pressure plate right in front of a door with an arrow dispenser on the opposite side of the door 2 squares away. Hook up the circuit so that you need to first stand on the plate, and then press the buttons in a specific order in order to open the door. If you mess up the order the circuit turns on the door and the dispenser and it shoots you on a clock until you die or step off the plate.

I did the same thing in a multiplayer server but it was made with a pulsar and a delay. The delay makes sure that the victim couldn't just step off the pressure plate to make it stop.

You should totally make a wall of those, only you would connect the dispenser with an AND Gate, and connect the AND gate to a clock/rapid pulser and an RS NOR Latch. So when you step on the plate, the latch makes the output positive, and it stays positive, even when you´re off the plate. This is if my thoughts are correct.
