can someone help me i haave a few questions.:

1) is he using any effects, cause when i try to bend high, on clean amp the sound is fading, and here there is a full sound :)?

I just did a search on youtube to find if james burton had ever played sultans of swing, and i stumbled on your video. Well if i closed my eyes i could have believed it WAS james! well done - do you use the metal fingerpick and plectrum as JB does?

I think Mark Knopfler should switch his preference to that prince of electric guitars- the Telecaster! Are there many Danes who can play with such American twang? I must confess to recent drooling over the King- the Les Paul!

pleasure to watch. I started clawhammer about 7 month ago and still going strong. I use the knopfler tech as well, and my index and midex go up and down very fluently now, which is handy when playing over chords

Then I can recommend that you order the String Man CD. It has an e-string tuning slide that will rock your whole head off! World record and it sounds amazing. I heard it hundreds ot times when I mixed the tracks and it still knocks me over. I'm sorry I did not video Sebber Larsen when we cut the track, it was awesome.

Yes and no. The preamp should not "color" the tone. What you hear is the raw guitar output.
