haha thought so, very nice clean tone.. My girlfriend is learning on my soprano lu21 and she wants the tenor version. You recommend it?

Absolutely ... if you have big hands ... thats the reason I play tenor over soprano.
Otherwise they're probably pretty identical.

It's a lanakai tenor ukulele, and actually, the strings are the originals, so I don't know. Bush league, of me, eh? Haven't changed the strings in over 2 years, guess I haven't been playing it very hard. **NOTE** The extra strings that came WITH the uke are Kamaka Tenor Ukulele strings, but I have yet to put them on ... guess I should sometime, eh?
