I agree, the castle has been open as a club for several years and they haven't had any issues, I don't think Charlie is a dirtbag for not wanting to invite creepy McCreeperson in.
I used to live next door to a lady who was related to the Tiedemanns, I can't remember if by marriage or blood, she passed away in December 2003. Dottie, lovely lady. But it just goes to show, not EVERYONE died. She really was overly dramatic.
im obsesssed with franklin castle! i always drive past there. snuck in once and another time charles let me in it. took some photos of the ballroom upstairs where is was completely pitch black. little white blips were all over in the picture.
i was in it before and didnt see anything matter of fact i never saw the woman in black walking around there either and i used to walk around there like 330 in the morning.
Myself and an old girlfriend took a tour of the castle in the early 70's. The entire house gives off an uncomfortable vibe. When we climbed the staircase to the top floor ,which had a small ballroom, we both immediately felt a cold chill and we hesitated entering the room. We both turned to look at each other, and we literally ran down the 3 flights of stairs and out the front door. An experience I'll never forget.

I woulgnt go in if i werew u....
apmarschall... I have done EXTENSIVE research on the castle... all records can be found at the Cuyahoga County Archives building just down the street. It is a phenomenal place... I just hope that one day it will be restored, and saved from what is inevitable... the city of Cleveland government wants it destroyed... I pray that does not happen.
I agree with you man! I am moving to California in a couple weeks, but I am still holding an extreme interest in this historic landmark. I would love to create a full-fledged, professional doc sometime in the near future.

1, Charles Milsaps is NOT the owner... Michelle Heimburger is. 2, The Franklin Castle is in SEVERE disrepair, the ghosts that may have once resided there I am quite sure have vacated the premises due to the severe neglect that this property has suffered. I do agree that the premises may be cursed, however, with the correct intentions, ownership, and passion, I am quite sure this home could be restored to it's original glory. I believe it commands that respect. I respect your analysis.

I created the project in May 2005 and got my info from valid sources, including Milsaps himself. This definitely shines a stranger light on what is really going on over there. The club's website hasn't even been updated since my project's completion.
the owner wants 2 keep from the public, it kinda gives it that unkown mysterious presence right in the heart of the hood, loved the video,wish it had more older pics of the castle,early 1900s or so......
