What's the big deal? the big companies will get the ideas anyway when it comes to serving many people. The same power plant will become something new, if they are thinking smarter like you guys...the best thing is keep the ideas flowing......by the way what ever happened to using the Tides - put these turbines horizontal in the water?... waves never ceses.....another old idea forgotten....

36 % Betz rentability for a vawt is exeptional

this is due to the central two dimentional vortex= + 12 % Betz

and the hybrid (drag/lift) combination = + 6 %

that means the turbo is twice as strong as a Modified Savonius( 18%)

much stronger than a Lenz (24%)

stronger than a Darrieus (26%)

But ....... my turbo is still a" bad" turbine because the rentability is

much lower than a HAWT (48/52 Betz)

but !!!! life expectation is more than 30 years

it is also noiseles (+ 3 db)

even if the turbine is 10x bigger it turns with that little fan, because it has no counterweight.

the weight of the turbine has nothing to do with it.
