OK, the floor manager should have kept an eye on the gratiné to stop it catching - but nonetheless, so happy to see this beautiful expert in full flight and with the flamboyance and experienced imprecision that typifies the French cuisine.

Who's going to know? She is so cute here. I have made her recipe for French Onion soup from her cookbook and it is incredibly rich and satisfying.
