Toronto FC..one of the newest teams in the MLS sod out last season and this season is sold out too. I guess not too many sports fans in Toronto look at it a "third world sport." Also it seems that a lot of people love watching live in Toronto too. Buddy your arguement sucks BIG time!

Besides soccer is only popular else where because it's cheep to play it. for other sports you need to buy equipment, many nations cant afford to have american football, baseball, basketball, or hockey.

In poor countries why don't they play basketball, where all you need is one ball. Or NFL where you could play flag with anything you can throw. Or baseball where you can use a stick and an old tennis ball. They don't play soccer because it's cheap.
