some people say its ok and others say its not. i dont risk it with my guys. i used to keep mine together but after i seperated them my newts seemed alot happier and more active
Quick question: I have the same type of frogs, (check vids) but I have been getting tiny white worms in my tank. I've cleaned it with boiling hot water, everything including rocks and tank, and they returned.
Do you have the same thing in yours? If not, are they harmful to either myself or the frogs?
Give that newt more water newts need to be able to SWIM in it with out touchinng the bottom god get it right thta so mean all u need to do is put water in it
5-10 inches max because there mainly arboirial and if they were ever to get stuck in the water theyd probably drowned or you could have it deeper if you had some kinda dock or platform in there :)
Although it is typically referred to as a toad, the Fire-Bellied Toad is not a member of the toad family (Bufonidae.) As such, it may properly be referred to as a frog.
nice tank and i love he bridge may i suggest you can buy floating logs and they work great and look great 2 things in 1! An i have a question doo u handle your toads and newts a lot

That's a nice setup, although I'd lose the fake palm tree, it kind of ruins the natural feel terrariums/vivariums should have.

The water's a bit too deep. About 3-4 inches is more adequate.

this is cool, i recon it would look better if you put 2 - 3 inches more of water in there and took away the unatural stuff, e.g palm trees
Joe1507 4 years ago
