I love this! I am Algerian this is kind of a speciality especially in the western part , we call it karantika there :) I like making it at home though I've always complained about not having the slightly burnt top like the one street vendors sell, and now I just realised that all you have to do is put it under the grill for a few minutes :D
Also, I usually make it with water so I might just try it with milk tomorrow since I have some chickpea flower lying around.
I am so making this it looks like a super healthy omlett. this is what I would like to eat in ramadan light but full of nutrients. Thanks Alia you rock!!
@treetopteresa Actually no! you can buy it from an Indian store, it's called "basan flour" - just ask the helpers in the store to help you find it. Otherwise, you can but it online at amazon.com
@roach187able the pepper sauce is called "Harissa" - it's in my to do list to do a video about it. You can also buy it from amazon.com - the 'Mustapha's ' brand is amazing!!! as for the bread, yes, toasted is always better!
whats the name of the hot sause you put in the sandwitch?

I made Karane and I liked it. Do you have any more recipes with Chickpea Flour ?
It's better than regular flour for diabetics. :o)
