  • Bachmann is a fucking joke. How does some batshit lunatic like her get to power???

  • whore

  • i'm a senior in a college and my dad constantly sends me article from the WSJ... and i wonder how someone can trust the WSJ anymore now that it's now by News Corp (Rupert Murdoch's company)?

Bachmann is really quite stupid.. I've never heard her make sense

  • I would not listen to WSJ when talking about a bill that will add competition to the market which means less cost for consumer...

WSJ wants consumer to pay the highest price, not the lowest

  • Obama is a fraud

  • Haha she walked straight up said to herself "Where;s that red light?!" Gleamed happily at the captive camera-"you can't run lil camera-you're on a mounted stand."

  • Assuming Bachmann isn't talking horseshit, should Congress have protected the muleskinners and the stagecoach industry from the invention of the automobile at the end of the 19th century?

  • no they shouldnt have bailed anyone out.. ever... if this were a true capitalist country we would let them fail and say good luck, but no, the US is a almost completely corporate state... it'll probably get worse, this sucks :(

  • Of course.

  • Is that number how many people will lose their jobs due to escalating healthcare costs and big pharma and big insurance bills?

    This woman is on crack.

  • This used to be the house of the people.

    /watch?v=_5VRhmgUNtM

  • Of course she'd site the Wall St. Journal. A paper not even worthy to wipe the shit off my ass after eating at dennys.

  • She said that all with a gleam in her eye and a smile on her face. I bet she laughs when she sees homeless people.

  • Why the hell should America care what the Wall Street Journal says?

Wall Street got us into this mess. Fuck 'em.

  • Worst bill ever?

    The Patriot Act

    That's the worst bill ever.

  • If the USA are going to have health care for all why the F***!! do insurance companies need to be involved.

F***ing stupid obamazoids wake up you are being conned!

    Awesome for the banksters maybe

    sx200ser

  • 5.5 million jobs losses? Where the heck does she get that number at her ass?

We are going to continue to loose jobs. In the next 50 years technology will take half of the remaining jobs. We haven't planned at all for this.

  • did she forget that its an option, if its so shitty no one would get it, so how is the government taking anything over. my guess is that it would work to well and everyone will want it and that's called awesome

  • did you forget that special interest runs our gov't? both side are full of crap and should not be trusted. they don't even write the bills, that is what lobbyist do

  • re: soundmoneyfan

So your argument is that we need to cut out the middle-man?

Remove Government, and Replace it with Robber Baron Capitalism.

  • We already have robber barons using gov't which is able to use force, such as the bailouts. When you create gov't power it will be hijacked by special interest. If you limit the power of gov't you also limit the ability for the well connected and powerful from using gov't to enrich themselves like defense contractors and the Iraq war. If you look at our current gov't and the history of gov'ts, they do not work for the poor even tho they act like they do, the rich and powerful run gov'ts.

  • re: soundmoneyfan

The rich and powerful run things in Somolia too.

    Your point?

  • You can't compare the two economies if you want a productive debate. There is no economy in Somalia. My point is that dealing with companies is voluntary, a company can only exist if people choose to do business with them, gov't uses force to get money and then hands it to its friends. The only way to prevent that is to limit gov't. Companies in a free society cannot use force. Today, companies co-op our gov't so that the can use our tax dollars which were taken by force, do you like this?

  • re: soundmoneyfan

Well there is no developed country practicing libertarian economics either.

And there really hasn't been, ever, since we were last an agrarian based economy.

At least Somolia's "no government market utopia" exists ;D

  • "Well there is no developed country practicing libertarian economics either."

haha, you can't face my argument so this is the best you got?? Did you ever think that the reason you would never see a gov't move in the direction of a libertarian society because it in not in the self interest of the individuals working in the gov't? It is sad that people like you actually believe that gov't makes your life better. It's a scam. A libertarian society would not have to be an agrarian based economy.

  • re: soundmoneyfan

That's because I don't really see what your argument is.

    Here's how I'm interpreting it:

"It doesn't actually exist, and it never really had ever existed in a macroeconomic framework, but if it did exist it would be all candy and rainbows"

  • I'm interpreting your argument as:

Government has continued to foul up my life over and over again when they think they are trying to make my life better. Therefore, I want them to keep trying to fix my life and fix the problems in this country that they created. I don't care that they are influenced by special interest and I don't matter to them. So what they are worried about re-election and not me; I still think they can get it right one day.

  • re: soundmoneyfan

    "Fouling up your life", eh?

So you're telling me a majority of Americans would prefer if we did away with all those?

    greyfalcon. net/ joe

  • Majority of American could careless. More people know what is going on with Jon&Kate+8 than they do about what goes on in DC. I don't expect to see any change in this country because the masses are friging retarded. But I'm not going to buy into the political BS, sorry!

  • re: soundmoneyfan

Well since we are talking about healthcare systems, and you seem to know so much about them.

What's your opinion on the Swiss system?

  • Switzerland uses a single payer system and has one of the highest life expectancies in the world because of may factors. Diet, active lifestyle, and free healthcare. They also have 441.95% in EXTERNAL debt as % of GDP. If the US had this much external debt as a % of GDP it would amount to $57.4535 Trillion. Our federal debt already requires interest payments over $500 billion every year, with a debt load this big we would have annual interest payment of around $2.2 trillion, great idea!

  • re: Soundmoneyfan

    Perhaps you're thinking of Sweden

Switzerland does not use a single payer system.

  • You are right it is a compulsory universal health-insurance coverage. I mixed it up, but the debt numbers I noted are correct. I just double checked.

  • re: soundmoneyfan

Well anyways, the reason I asked about the Swiss system

    Is because

    1. Yes there's a mandate

    2. Yes there are minimum quality standards for the most basic insurance plans

    3. However, aside from that, the entire system is privately operated

  • I have a problem when gov't forces people to buy something from a private individual. crony capitalism at it's worse. gov't has a monopoly on force, I don't like seeing companies being able to use it

  • Do your drive a car?

  • yes. i'm sure this is a leading question into some smart ass comment so go ahead

  • come on dipshit, I was hoping you were going to say some witty. you ask a dumb ass leading question then you pussy out on the follow up?? wtf is that about? douche nugget

  • Why would respond to a FUCK WAD like you? You are not worth the pee on my dog's dick

  • haha, that was the response I figured you would come with. Very original. I know you didn't respond to the original comment because you didn't want to get intellectually owned on youtube. I understand that healthy debate with some one more intelligent can be intimidating. Come back if you ever decide to form an actual argument of some kind and not just ask a dumb question and run.

  • I'm not one of those freaks that thinks this bill is a "gov't take over of healthcare". I'm not a numb nuts glenn beck fan or a repub, haha

  • re: soundmoneyfan

Also, according to the CIA World Factbook

Their public debt as a percent of GDP (2008) is 40.9%

Where our public debt as a percent of GDP (2007) is 60.8%

  • haha, look at external debt in the CIA World Factbook, that is where I got my data.

  • My main point is, if you want to elect Dennis Kucinich and have an honest socialist gov't that really works for the people and clean out the cronies and lobbyist, I'm fine with that and would like it more than what we have now even tho I know it would eventually fail. But if you support the current form of corporatism we have in Washington where corporations and special interest works against the average citizen than I dont know what to say to you. They pretend like medicare is not insolvent

  • external debt is both public and private debt which shows that yes the swiss have a great standard of living, but they are huge debtors. and i don't want to be like them.

  • *these

  • re: soundmoneyfan

Or how about I put that another way, more specific to what's being discussed.

Can you show me evidence of a country without a federal health program, with high quality results, and inexpensive prices?

    greyfalcon. net/ healthcare

Because frankly, I'm not aware of one that has ever existed.

Or rather, the only thing that has proven itself ever to work, IS countries with comprehensive government programs.

But hey, prove me wrong with some actual evidence.

  • I can prove to you that our gov't is the reason cost are so high today, so may I ask, if they are the reason the system is broken, why do you trust them to fix it? They're crooks. European countries with free healthcare are bigger debtors percentage wise than we are. The countries in the EU owe foreign creditors from the range of 150% to 450% of their respective GDP. That would mean we would owe from $19 trillion to $50+ trillion to foreign creditors, you want to be like these people? Really?

  • An actual Prostitute have more dignity than her... & all the republicans combine...

  • Bachmann the inhuman corporate lying WHORE.

You stupid idiots commenting below get fooled so easily.

  • Bachman is the biggest whore that eveer lived - she was caught giving a blowjob to cheney

  • she's full of shit

  • 5 Million jobs lost in the United States?

Yes, but Obama created over 650,000 new jobs in China.

  • if you only had a brain

  • integral

Do I really need to explain every last detail to you like a small child. Perhaps you need a pop-up book with funny pictures.

  • Bachmann FTW
