It looks pretty funny when the missile loop, have done it a few times against air units and the funny part is that even if the rocket loop and miss the first time it still hits them, assuming you have traced it. The tracer-dart works very well at infantry as vehicles, stationary and air units.

@madman2u I wasn't actually asking if Stinger missiles are availible in BFBC2, I was impersenating a player attacked by the missile because it acts like a stinger missile (it goes up then decends vertically, it does this primarily to target the weak armour on top of tanks)

@JAEProductions1 stingers are not used for tanks stingers are mainly used on heli's and jets, Javelins are the tanks worst enemy as they lock on while it isn't moving and strike the top part of the tank destroying the whole things.

This dart's are the source of most realism-fails in BC...

1: They are so freaking fast, precise and constantly flying... how?!

2: Why do they stick on humans? Uniforms with 70% steelwool? No DMG, so they aren't in the soldier.

3: Why can't you use them if they hit on sth. else then vehicle and enemies? Ok, it would be a bad thing for rush...

4: You can lock them if there are 2 walls between shooter and target, so it must be some signals they use. How can that flares distract the rocket then?!

I know it's a game, but they try to make it some kind of realistic. Not like a simulation, but not as unrealistic like many other games. *coughing* MW2

I remember an interview which contains the statement, that they spoke with an ex-elite-soldier about lieing down on the battlefield. (The soldier said only snipers lie down, but then for a weak or longer)

So they get soldiers to talk about lieing down in a fight but they don't care about physic an some cases...

The rockets supposedly are 'attracted' to the magnetic force of the dart. They are magnetic-guided, not heat-seeking. In the game, of course, no such thing in real life.

This is nothing new. Ive been doing this forever. Just tag a tank, run to the other end of the map, and do some rocket artillery. Tanks usually panic when this happens, and its so hilarious!
