  • Which team won it that year? Hmmm, let me think.... UNITED! UNITED! UNITED!

  • gay.

  • It is easy to bash Sky, but just look at the players in ad. They were the star players back then. Not one of them would be a top player now. The sky money made English football important again and brought better players to the league. This isn't communist China.

  • the beginning of the end...

  • seems a very homosexual Video I thought it was a gay porno film at the start Lol.

  • People forget that Before Sky starting doing the premiership in 1992 football on tv was rubbish. ITV had the rights the 4 seasons before and didnt even show a live game every weekend. I remember the live matches didnt start until November and there coverage was crap. There wasnt any highlight programme on a saturday night like there is now with Match of the day. ITV used to quickly show just the goals from the other games at half time during there sunday live match. Thank god for Sky sports!!

  • @Barsenalona84 sky's coverage is top notch

  • The whole point of the FA giving birth to this monster has been lost in time........The Football League should have never lost the top division. The Football League 1888 still has the most beautiful trophy.

  • Check out Andy Ritchie's brick of a mobile phone. And Paul Stewart? Wow, hard to believe Liverpool paid big money for him. But then he was capped for England by Graham Taylor so it must have added an extra nought on his price tag.

  • sky tried to start a fight with the sheffield shirts

  • wow this is mintttt, i want the days of a brilliant blackburn and its SAS back

  • It's a bit homoerotic, non?

  • The sky / Premiership deal struck by the top few club chairman and FA killed club football. I can still remember the launch all about saving the game, bringing it into a modern age. The game now runs at a loss and people are priced out. Very few clubs and people and actually gained anything from this farce. It is a NATIONAL GAME. Sad that I now enjoy local league matches and training more than top flight football

  • @petehall1985 So it didn't kill club football. You just went elsewhere to get it. Get a grip.

  • THE DAY ENGLISH FOOTBALL SOLD ITS SOUL TO THE FUCKING DEVIL.

  • @carrroad I totally agree. The Day It stopped many people watching football On tv. Sky :( and there rubbish style

  • Saw this on the Alan Sugar documentary a few nights ago.

  • how many players can people name? before money came more important than club loyalty

  • remember that like yesterday.

  • dont need huge names for an advert. we got the message, and look now. everyones doing it, watching sky sports

  • nothing worse then the Premiership

    AGAINST MOD£RN FOOTBALL

  • amazing I remember this advert still

  • 0:40 Probably the only time Bruce Grobbelaar caught a ball that season...

  • can,t wait for the premiership to start.

  • cracking video briliant song class band

  • brings back memories watching this ad!! love it

  • @1:26 - Best header of all time!

  • I remember this advert really well!

Some of the namaes in there though, hardly huge names...imagine if they made a video like this today!

  • @hutchbeast doesnt matter. any player can be in an advert and still influence us, cos they all play for a great league.

  • It's from 1992 isn't it?

  • @korrova yes it is.

  • Brilliant! This advert brings back memories.
